LOSCIL - SUBMERS
Loscil "Submers" Album Review
Submerge
Very cool, trippy music, only bad thing is it comes in a cardboard slip case, with no spindle to hold the CD. The CD just slides in like an envelope, if You're not careful You'll probably get some nice big scratches on it.
ORBITAL - WORK 1989 2002
Orbital "Work 1989 2002" Album Review
I'm gonna give it an "eh".
It's OK. That's about as good of a review as I can give this one. But then, Orbital isn't an easy band to make a "hits" CD of.
Video Orbital - Waving Not Drowning (Music Video)
Music Video for "Waving Not Drowning" by Orbital from the Music DVD "The Altogether 5.1". This video is divided into 2 parts. The first is about a director having difficulty shooting a toddler show called "The Play Factory". The second part is a tour of a CD Factory. (Similar to How Things Are Made in Mr. Rogers or Barney) (TIP!: During the first part, look for a cameo of the Hartnolls. They're holding up a sign saying "Play" & "Work". This sign and the motto of the made-up show: "How can work be play?", is the inspiration of the future singles "Rest", & "Play" with the compilation: "Work 1989 - 2002". Also during the second part, the CDs that are being produced is "The Altogether", even though its quite obvious.)
PIETER K - EVERYTHING ALL THE TIME
Pieter K "Everything All the Time" Album Review
DnB with some class
This stuff is really good. Has a lot of emotion to it. From a technical standpoint, its some of the best DnB you'll get your hands on.. Love it!
SWAYZAK - DIRTY DANCING
Swayzak "Dirty Dancing" Album Review
Minimal tech-electro-clash-house-stuff
Sometimes thing are hard to label, Swayzak is hard to label, it's not techno, it's certainly not house, it's not ambient, it's not electro it's whatever. It is however very minimal clear cut tech, with a hint of electro (80's) and even goth (track #3)
I have to be honest, I never was a big Swayzak fan but this album it just excellent, every track is a mini electro diamond. It's excellent stuff you want to play after you got home from a night out but still have an hour of energy left.
Go get it, this probably will be a classic
